... who's calling ?...

. . .  an indepth look at the 120 selections 1725 Stepper . . .

All selections made on a wallbox, will be send as pulses to the jukebox. Therefore a special device has to be mounted inside the jukebox, to translate the pulses into proper selections again. This device now is called a stepper or receiver:

It's placed inside the jukebox, next to the power distribution. (as you wil see there, both pins and plugs will fall into the power distribution - )

The plug and connector pointer_a.gif (136 bytes), lying at the bottom of the jukebox have to be disconnected:

And has to be put into positions pointer_c.gif (132 bytes) and pointer_d.gif (138 bytes), and the cable coming from the wallbox has to be plugged in on pointer_e.gif (134 bytes) :

How the stepper operates

As explained at the wallbox page, first the selected page is being transmitted, and secondly the selected button.

The incoming pulses will be counted by the timing relays pointer_a.gif (136 bytes) and the transfer relays pointer_b.gif (139 bytes).

The no. of the page will be recorded on pointer_c.gif (132 bytes), the group stepper, and the selected button on pointer_d.gif (138 bytes), the unit stepper.

When resetting the wallbox, the selection on the stepper is registered on the selector unit assembly.
